The Paris Hoodie – Bonjour! is our little salute to a city that has made an art form out of everyday life.

Across the back, a hand-drawn Eiffel Tower rises beneath an exuberant red bonjour! — familiar, cheerful, and just imperfect enough to feel like something discovered rather than designed.

Warm cream, soft architectural lines, and that flash of Parisian red give the artwork the feeling of an old travel illustration found somewhere between a postcard and a fashion sketch.

A Note on Paris

Paris has been photographed, painted, written about, sung about, and fallen in love with so many times that it should, by now, be impossible to surprise anyone.

And yet it does.

Not always with the Eiffel Tower or the Seine or the grand sweep of the Champs-Élysées. Often it is something much smaller.

A woman carrying a baguette under one arm without the slightest awareness that she has just become someone else’s idea of Paris. Chairs at a café facing outward toward the street, because watching life is considered a perfectly legitimate activity. A florist wrapping flowers as though presentation matters even when the flowers are going home to an ordinary kitchen table.

Paris understands the importance of details.

The right coat.
The right bread.
The right light.
The right amount of time spent doing absolutely nothing useful.

There is grandeur everywhere, of course. Museums that could occupy a lifetime. Architecture that makes an ordinary walk feel consequential. Gardens designed with military precision and then filled with people reading novels in the sun.

But perhaps the great seduction of Paris is the suggestion that everyday life deserves some ceremony too.

Drink the coffee from a proper cup. Buy the flowers. Sit outside. Walk instead. Wear the good shoes. Order dessert.

None of it is particularly urgent.

That may be the point.
